The third round of the Scottish Biomass Heat Scheme is nearing its closing date.  Applications have to be submitted by 12^th February 2010.

There have been a couple of bits of further information added below:

• further support: for those projects which cannot apply for this round, either due to size or timescale, we are looking to assess the level of demand for ongoing grant support. An EOI form has therefore been added to the website. We are interested to hear from all types of business who currently can't access funding.

Please note:

• the SBHS is restricted to heat-only biomass installations by SMEs;
• this is for operational biomass heating systems, displacing fossil fuel usage;
• projects which are ELIGIBLE to apply for SRDP or CARES cannot apply for SBHS, whether or not they are successful under these schemes.
